The better you care for your bears the better they will care for you.

Here are our tips for caring for your bear collection.

Smoke free.

It is important bears are kept in a smoke free environment. They like this their fur likes this. It makes them more valuable in the future. If you smoke in the house, consider placing the collection in a room that is maintained as smoke free.

Dust free.

Bears like being on dusted shelves and fixtures. This means they like their world to be regularly cleaned. But do not use solvents or cleaners that can leave a residue and damage bear fur.

Shaken, gently.

Teddy bear joints can get a bit set. Hold each bear by the shoulders and gently shake to help arm and legs loosen. They like this. But be gentle. It brings a smile to their faces.

An occasional blow dry.

To freshen a bear, you can also blow dry as long as the hair dryer is set to cold and the air speed set to low. Blow air across the bear and this can freshen them beautifully.

Keep away from pets.

Pets love collectible teddy bears as much as people. But their fur, saliva and dirty paws can damage the bears. Our advice is to keep your collection away from your bets.

Storage in the home.

Place your bears how and where you like, on shelves, on furniture, in a cabinet. The actual location choices are yours to make. Our advice is to make them accessible so you can hug them easily. Bears love hugs and we think you will love being hugged by them.
